My First Screen Printing

After many attempts on papers, boards and textile, i finally did it, i created a nice Bob Marley T-Shirt!

Screen Printing wasn't easy as i thought at the beginning. There are a hell of work and knowledge you need to have before you can even start stenciling...those include knowledge of processing color(CYMK), ink type and surface the image is to go and so on...

Once thing for sure is that it doesn't take long time to start enjoying your self when you start printing, but mastering the craft well it depends on how badly you want it...

Anyway i'd say my experience was a good one and intend to do more of Screen Printing.

iphone
Originally uploaded by landrik.
I'm sure for now everyone have read and possibly seen enough of it to have an opinion on the iPhone. i ain't gonna say much about this product except that it comes in time when i have to research on the core principal of graphical user interface design (GUI).

I call it the Holy Trinity, it combines tree essential products, a mobile phone, an iPod, and an Internet device. it has no conventional buttons, only touch screen, it is designed in way that let the user control everything with just tip of his finger.

I see A whole new World

When Apple introduced the Ipod in 2001, it took the world by storm and change our ways of listining to our favourites tunes, now it does it again with the Iphone.

I see tons of possibilities.

With its built in desktop class operating system (OS X) and real browser (Safari), imagine what this offers for the next generation of web applications and gadgets...well being a mobile.

I see Apple making life easier and most of all fun...

Desperate "M"ousewifes

Now and then when i browse the net, i cant help but admire what really people do come up with when you put technology in their hands! Take a look for instance what you can do with voice synch...this guy created a short animation or the famous Mickey and Minnie dubbed with the voice of Bree(Marcia Cross),Andrew(Shawn Pyfrom) and Danielle(Joy Lauren) characters from Desperate Housewifes...Amazing isn't it?

You thought weird, this is even "weirder"

While the world is trying live in harmony with each other by embracing things like multiculturalism, homosexuality and so forth and so on without the “Holy Mother Church” interfering; the people at WND are trying to explain some of our differences.

Apparently drinking too much soy milk makes you gay according to this weirdo! Ready on and make up your mind!

PS: if what they claim is true which i doubt, then the whole world is gay! even better! no more differences!

Make me a SuperModel(Finale)

Thursday night, it was the finale of "Make me a SuperModel" UK version. So i managed to catch up with the last two series, which after carefully watching, i kinda lost the whole purpose of the show. i saw Jen, 24 years who's quite big around the middle for a model, winning over Marianne, an 18 years old blond swedish girl, who has talent, beauty, elegance and endurance.

Jen clearly ate like, it was the last supper, bags of crisps everyday, skiving off gym, i bet she snicked out for a pint, during the whole process, she never showed any commitment, therefore she was rewarded with being the third runner up. Marianne didn't stand a chance of winning, as she has only been in UK for the last few months, she had no backing up from any city or area of the country. She should have won this competition, she had all the attributes of a Model, she was praised at all photo-shoot, reason why the Judges never put her up for the catwalk, otherwise she could have been voted rite away!

Then came the boys, my God,what a bag full of crap this show was. From day one Luke had potential, he's got look, character, charisma, humor and attitude whether Albert (the winner) i don't think he had a clue of what was going on, the guy was utterly boring, so darkened you might think he's just escaped jail, but hey he won that what the public thinks should a SuperModel look like, My God!

Luke and Marianne would definitely be models, i really hope they go far, Milan, New York and Paris being home for these two.
For Jen, she still have a lot of homework do to in which joining a local gym would be very handy and wise, for Albert, ummh i don't know, i hope the contract doesn't go to waste.

Paolo Nutini is "REWINDing"

Blessed with a soulful, passionate voice and the natural gift of storytelling through songs, Paolo Nutini comes back with the single "REWIND", out on December 4th.

There is something about, Paolo's songs, they are so simple but at the same times very dynamic, maybe being a great grandson of chippy owner makes easy for Paolo to tell it the way it is, he is frank.

When I heard Paulo the first time sometime last year, I suddenly fall in love with not only his voice (thick Scot accents blended with a little touch of Italian) but the maturity of lyrics from an 18 years old boy.

Take a look for instance at "Last Request", the work is just an amazingly vintage, hard to believe that this is a boy from Paisley (Some miles away from Glasgow).

Paolo isn’t shy to let us know about his romantic life through "Jenny Don't be Hasty" lying a older woman about his age.

Paolo writes his own songs, he is another talented musician from Scotland. My only complain is, why the hell are there only 10 tracks on the album?
